For the first time, community members are invited to kick off their shoes and celebrate the first harvest of the season at Promenade Temecula. The shopping center is opening its annual Grape Stomp event to the public, and tickets are now on sale for the event at www.TemeculaTheater.org, which will take place on Thursday, October 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
“In collaboration with our local winery partners, restaurants and retailers, our Grape Stomp will give guests a chance to experience the community’s rich wine culture in a unique, interactive way that is sure to be unforgettable,” says Kym Espinosa, Director of Marketing for Promenade Temecula. “Guests at the event will have the chance to sign up in teams and take part in a friendly competition to master the ancient art of grape stomping. The team that produces the most juice will be named the winner and presented with some wonderful prizes provided by Promenade retailers.”
Promenade Temecula’s Grape Stomp event will also feature wine tastings from various local wineries, including South Coast Winery Resort and Spa, Wilson Creek Winery, Leoness Cellars, Robert Renzoni Estate Vineyards, Gershon Bachus Vineyards, Briar Rose Winery, Callaway Vineyards and Winery Danza del Sol Winery.
Food pairings and desserts will be provided by Promenade Temecula restaurants including:
- Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar
- P.F. Chang’s China Bistro
- Red Robin Gourmet Burgers
- Sushi Boat
- Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ
- California Pizza Kitchen
The event will be held at Promenade Temecula’s Wine Walk, located between Yard House and Pottery Barn in the outdoor shopping plaza.
“In addition to the truly unique “I love Lucy,” moment, we are elevating this experience for our guests by adding a charitable component to the event,” explains Espinosa. “This year’s Grape Stomp will directly benefit the programs attached to our community’s, Temecula Presents, bringing awareness to the incredible performing arts that this theater provides to our community.”
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to support various Temecula Presents theater programs. Tickets are $25 per ticket prior to the event, and $35 per ticket at the door.
Tickets are limited and are available for purchase at www.TemeculaTheater.org, by phone at 866-653-8696, or in-person at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater, located at 42051 Main Street in Temecula, Calif.
Based on the wine tastings offered, the Promenade Temecula Grape Stomp event is for guests 21 years of age and over. Valid ID must be presented at the door, with your ticket.
